Romney Marsh is 100 square miles of land that was under the sea only a few thousand years ago.
The land is now a beautiful area ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching.
Here, in New Romney, is the world famous Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Steam Railway, the Kent Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre and two golf courses.
A glorious sandy beach is only a mile away, with others all along the coast.
Close by are Port Lympne Reserve (Wild Animal Park), Brenzett Air Museum and Dungeness, an amazing place with rare fauna and flora, the RSPB Nature Reserve
and the Old Lighthouse with superb views across the Marsh.
There are historical sites all over the Marsh including 14 medieval churches, Roman ruins, the medieval town of Rye and much more.
